How to cut and paste file in Mac OS X

Mac OS X does not allow you to cut and paste a file, but instead, you move a file.

Press Cmd+C to mark a file for copying or moving, change directory, then press Cmd+Opt+V to move the previously marked file. The file will be moved from source to destination.
