Since last year, security has been a very hot topic in the world of mobile devices. Several secure mobile messengers have been introduced, some clicked as a big hit, while others are progressing slowly.
Today, I would like to review one of the most under-rated but really powerful secure mobile messenger – The Moolup Messenger.
All the secure messengers we know need to be at both ends. This means that the sender and the receiver, both need to have the same messenger in order to get the message through from one end to the other.
However, Moolup Messenger is something different from the rest.
Moolup presents a unique and convenient way of sending self-destructing message to any smartphone without the recipient needing to install any app.
Moolup is simple, fast and free to download from Google Play Store.
How does Moolup Messenger Work?
There is a huge difference between Moolup and other messengers. Using Moolup, you can send a text message along with an optional picture to any smartphone and also set number of seconds to read it.
When you send a message using Moolup, it is first sent to the Moolup server against which a small, quick loading, one time readable web page is created and the recipient is sent a link to this web page as an SMS text, along with little instructions.
On clicking this link in the SMS text, the created web page opens in the smartphone’s default web browser and displays the sent text and picture, along with a countdown timer.
Once the specified number of seconds to read this message is over, the message becomes unavailable on the mobile phone and at the same time, deleted from the Moolup server.
The interface is light, the look is neat and the delivery of message is fast.
Ideal to send secret information to people when you do not know whether they have the same secure messenger with them.
Moolup Messenger requires Android 4.0 and up.
